Once the Alcolock system is ordered, our operations department will phone you to set up a time to install the product, which can be day, night or weekend, depending on the schedule of your vehicles.
Our fully trained technician will come to your premises or other convenient location to complete the installation. A single Alcolock should take 90 minutes or less to complete.
Once the Alcolock is fitted, the technician will then run through an operator training lesson with the vehicle's driver or other nominated company personnel.
If you are running a fleet of vehicles, we will set up a training session for the nominated Alcolock supervisor/manager within your organisation, to run through the services he or she is able to utilize such as:
- Downloading data from the Alcolocks
- Changing date and time
- Marrying breathalysers to different immobilizers
For fleet operators we will work with you and endeavour to install the Alcolocks into a group of vehicles at one time, thus making savings on the installation costs.
If you have a fleet of vehicles of which we are not familiar, we would ask if we could initially send our chief engineer to fit a one-off vehicle. An installation process for this particular vehicle would then be logged on our system and the other engineers would then use this information to complete the installation on the remaining vehicles.

FT Installations are leaders in the field of vehicle electrical installations with clients ranging from the RAC Motoring Services, looking after on-board electrical installation on all patrol vehicles, to Morrisons, installing telematic and tracking devices to all of their lorries.
